A country couch for the new look lounge


I finally decided on Sunday it was time to make a new couch for the country lounge instead of just thinking about it.

So I got my box of wood bits out and this is what I came up with.
Even hubby was surprised at how well it turned out.

I just get happier with this room every day!

    You new lounge is perfect! Love the couch! I just had to enlarge your photos to see all of the pretty details. I really like your tables, the little houses, the fireplace, baskets, pie safe, and the Liberty buoy on the coffee table!

    Wow!! The speed at which you work totaly amazes me...I spent most of yesterday thinking and looking at what to do next...you got straight in and just did what you had to do...well done!

    I love the couch- I think you make amazing furniture! I am excited to see the kitchen because I have been trying to work on the kitchen for my house for my bear and I am finding I am not so good at making furniture. I am hoping to pick up some tips!!! The lounge looks so comfortable- like you could settle in with a good book :)

    Menudo cambio le has dado al salon. Ahora esta mucho mejor. El sofa me a gustado para mi terraza.

    It looks wonderful and fits just perfect.

    Make sure Mr Nylon doesn't invite Kendo over to party though...you know what those rock stars can be like...before you can say Smoke On The Water you'll be cleaning up beer stains ;-)

    Your couch is beautiful and i love it to bits.
    It reminds me of one owned by my husbands aunt and i loved it when i would visit.
    Sadly when she died it was thrown away and i didn't get to rescue it.

    I really like the check fabric you have used for the cushion - it really does help to make the room look cosy and homely, but still smart.
