The Pixies Christmas!

When Jo sent me her little pixies I knew I had to use them for something special! I made this 'Pixie Christmas' box to display at our final club meeting for the year a few weeks ago. Now it sits on my mantlepiece. The box isn't very big, just 15 x 17cm. I've tried to keep most of the colours in the scene to the four basic colours Jo used on the pixies. The Christmas tree was a decoration and I made the hearts on it from Fimo.

The 'Believe' picture was a sticker from an old Mary Englebreit calendar.

How cute is that little pixie?!
There's the tiniest elf Jo made (he's just visiting the Christmas box). The Finnish flags are there because they were the right colour!
Can you imagine how happy I was to find that book title 'The Elf on the Shelf'!!!! The bowl beside him and the jug on the mantlepiece I made from paper.
The angel on the wall is a button. I bought the fimo Santa in Melbourne and I made the blue bowl with the hearts from Fimo...but I'm not that confident with Fimo yet!

Debbie there are your gorgeous toadstools, I promise I'll give them back to Noah. I made the chair in great haste, wouldn't recommend sitting on it!
The Christmas stockings were very tricky to make! The gingerbread man on the wreath is a scrapbooking embellishment. The starfish and seashells in the basket are just there because they are the right colour, lol! The little table is a Debbie Mumm Christmas button.

Now if you love little pixies as much as I do pop on over to Lissu's blog here and see what she's done with her Maileg pixies...how funny that two people on opposite sides of the world should have a similar idea!

Mercedes- this is adorable and I think it magically has made my christmas spirit return after some serious trodding on it from trying to shop in the stores yesterday. I love it so much!!! Merry Christmas to you!

wow, sooooo cute! I love those pixies. Now what an inspiring idea. I've been bored. ha! I had the most fun color-coordinating when I did a Raggedy Ann room. Guess it's time to do a fun theme again to reinspire me! I found a cute little witch almost like those pixies; I'm gonna hunt for some elves or something fun!

The Pixie room box is delightful, so full of detail and interest, and great to be inspired by something that arrives in the mail.
Don't give up on the fimo - you've done a great job of the bowl, and it takes practice.
