I had planned to post this before Christmas...
however as I had decided it was 'Year of the Homemade Gift,
I was busy crafting my fingers off until early Christmas morning.
But many friends have asked to see pics of my Christmas decor.

So here was what Christmas looked like in our house...
I made the Christmas Tree cookies for Liberty to give to her classmates, the cupcakes and reindeer were for family and friends.
And here's one very excited little lady early on Christmas morning.

What a feast of Christmas it was in your home - lovely photos. So I wasn't the only person making things for Christmas up to the 11th hour and beyond!

Greetings Mercedes, So nice to see your post. The house looks lovely all decorated for Christmas. It always seems so bare when they come down. I see someone received a Lalaoopsy Doll.
ReplyDeleteWe have had lots of fun making clothing for this doll using the elasticised top of a childs sock as a bodice.
Welcome back, hope we see more of you in 2013!

Hi Mercedes, my name is Debbie & I live in Seattle. I very recently found your blog by accident. Turns out that it was a very happy accident. The first thing I saw was your mini couch with the teeny little house pillows. They are too adorable! I went straightaway to JoAnn fabric store to find that exact fabric so I could make those little pillows myself. Alas, they did not have any fabric with tiny houses on it. I will keep looking and hopefully eventually I will be rewarded. In the meantime, you have totally inspired me to start making minis again. I built a dollhouse many years ago & had great fun furnishing it & creating all the little accessories to make it homey. Anyway, your miniatures are amazing and I look forward to new blogs from you with your awesome minis. I am almost completely through all of your older blogs. Thank you so much for sharing your amazing talent with us. P.S. I tried to email you with a few pictures of some of my recent attempts at minis but it could not be delivered. Perhaps you have a new email.
ReplyDeletefeliz año nuevo para ti y tu familia , la decoracion es preciosa y con el valor añadido de que lo has hecho tu , y Liberty esta muy grande y preciosa
