Vintage kitchenwares for the shabby house

I needed some vintage saucepans for the shabby house and after searching the world for them and seeing how much they cost I decided I should have a go at painting some myself. I had a rummage around and was surprised to find I had so many pots. These were all originally painted speckled dark blue.

Here they are in the shabby kitchen cupboard. I guess I should start thinking about some food to go on the other shelf.

I also painted those metal mini kitchen utensils and I made another rack like the one Sylvia made me because it needed to be a bit smaller once I had hung the plate rack up. And that little pink jug is the tiniest one I've made so far.
As you can see I haven't got tired of making rusty things yet!

  3. Hey I have the same speckled blue pots and pans too and intended to paint them as well. Your "old" wares are looking great and everytime I see the black button studs, they always make me think of your stove. :) So brilliant!

  4. Well done you!! I've painted plates and bowls that were originally that speckly stuff but hadn't thought of the pots. Great thing about the speckleware is that it's comparitively inexpensive.
