I'd love to have some of these in real life.
Giant candlesticks made from old stair balustrades.
But because I haven't seen any real life ones here I thought I'd make them in mini!
I was a very lucky girl to recieve this in the mail from Sylvia the other day.
How cute is that card?!
Incredible work! I especially love that tiny bag.
It would seem there is nothing Sylvia cannot do!
Mercedes

I have those in real life made from lampshade stands :), wooden ones.

Hi Mercedes, I read your post while I was thinking about writing to you.The stands are so good, love your paint work. I have one of these stands in my home but it's made of copper and it comes from an old church. I'llsend you a pic.Have a nice day, Rosanna
ReplyDeleteI love the candle sticks. You could make them full size the same way buying wooden balustrades for a real house.

ReplyDeleteI hanker after some of those candlesticks in real life too, they're 'everywhere' in American junk blogs and I definately need some in my mini-Brocante which WILL materialise completed one of these days! Still a few weeks of uni torture before then tho ;)
I wonder if there is a market for real life ones on ebay/Trademe here Downunder?? Maybe we're not the only ones hankering for some... The demolition handware yards should have old balustrades. I can feel a serious thought coming on!!

Dear Mercedes, I really like your candlesticks.
ReplyDeleteSmall ones are more graceful and "expendable", I think.
The candles are too cute and your nests are a fairy tale: everywhere see them, recognize them. Only you are able to realize so polite, pretty, with blue eggs ...
