More mail from Sylvia!


You can imagine how excited I was to find this pile of packages from Sylvia in the mail!


Sylvia sent me some of her fabulous 'brocante' style enamelware, I LOVE these things! And just look at those tiny onions!


Also in the package was this crocheted bedcover and cushions, just beautiful, I love the colour! The bed and mattress were made by a lady at our club, alas they have no home yet but I just love the style.


And would you believe Sylvia also knits!!!! Is there anything that woman can't do, lol!!! How cute is that little jersey?

    Thanks one thing I can't do and that's Knit or crochet. The bed cover is beautiful and so is the enamelware.. xx

    I wonder if NZ Post have reported to the Secret Service that you are regularly receiving strange little packages from all over the world ;)

    Well Norma, funnily enough the customs department did take an unhealthy interest in this particular package and they had opened it! I don't think they'd actually opened any of the little packages though, I suspect the mini onions looked like seeds when they x-rayed it.

    How lucky we are that miniatures allow us to try so many crafts without the commitment or space required from full-size endeavours.
    Looking forward to trying to do petit point and mini knitting.... one of these days, of course! I better not commit to anything until I clear up all the backlog of good intentions.

    I think it was to much trouble to open all the presents, that's why the customs-people leave them.
