Glass bottles for the shabby house
The other day I received these stunning glass bottles from Benedetta who lives in Italy. Bendetta doesn't have a blog but believe me she does have some beautiful miniatures. I would have shown them sooner but the memory card for my camera decided to give up, I guess it's been overworked! I had to get a friend to take the pic for me.
I made a little shabby shelf for them and they look so perfect in the shabby bedroom.
Thank you Benedetta!

I too want to get to know her :), Did she make those too? So those are pearls edging the shelf? Or are they grooves you carved? The little birdie box is precious.

I have been admiring your additions but was wondering what you are using for the wall brackets to put the shelving up. The glass work is lovely. I am off to look at the site now.
ReplyDeleteHi Snowberry,
ReplyDeleteThe brackets are just a triangle of wood. The piece of wood I found in my box of bits already had a groove cut into it. The wall is angled so it was a challenge to get the triangles the right shape so that the shelf would be level.
