A week or so ago I surprised Christel Jensen with a little gift I mailed her. But yesterday I was the one who was surprised with a beautiful gift from Christel. Just look at that gorgeous card!
The most exquisite box of tiny macaroons and a plate of the sweetest little cupcakes.
Here they are in the shabby house (which is really not set up properly at the moment, there's a bit of building work going on!) Don't they just look perfect there?!
I really think I must be the luckiest person around these days!
Thank you Christel!
I thought I'd let you all know that Linda Carswell at Une Petite Folie is in hospital for at least a week with a back injury so we won't be seeing any beautiful blog posts from her for a while.

Hi Mercedes, thank you very much for the kind comments that you left on my blog. I have been an admirer of your blog/minis for a while. You asked about the keys. They are a collection which I have bought here and there and all over, but I can only remember that I bought the last two in Dublin. I can not buy any minis where I live, but whenever I travel, I stuff my suitcases with whatever I can find. Thank goodness it is possible to fit a king size bed and a few other things in with ease!
ReplyDeleteLovely minis and congratulation for your shabby house, is wonderful!!!
ReplyDeleteEvery time I open your blog I dream...
Bye bye
Roberta

Oh lucky you!
ReplyDeleteI received some of these delightful cupcakes a little while ago and I have put the card on the wall of my doll's bedroom!
Christel is very talented.
But so are you! I just love all those fabulous mini items you create for your mini house. I might need a few tips one day because I would like to create a few decorative objects for my doll's bedroom but I need to work in a bigger scale than 1/12th .But anything tiny mini can be made just mini, can't it?
Your house makes me dream.
I cannot wait to see your next project!
OH how sweet of her,, they look so pretty on that gorgeous table.. I can't even imagine making something so tiny... Prayers for Linda's recovery....
