Swap with Lissu!

The mail service has been very good to me this week! I had the pleasure of receiving a beautiful shabby chic package from Lissu in Finland today.

Just look at all those pretty packages! It felt like Christmas again!

Too beautiful!! 'Greengate' cushions and a quilt - so wonderful to have these in mini because I could never afford them in 'real' life, lol! And how gorgeous is that floor rug!

Perfectly shabby!

Curtains, a robe and the cutest pink pig!

Wonderful!

So sweet!

A gorgeous shabby box full of baubles!
I have admired Lissu's minis for such a long time, it was such a thrill to be able to swap with her.
If you haven't popped by Lissu's blogs before you're in for a real treat...she has many fantastic dollhouses and a blog for each one. If you click on her name it will take you to her main blog and you can visit the others from there.
Thank you Lissu!
I took time out from another project (you know the one Debbie) to have a rather long play in the dollhouse with my new mini's this afternoon. Oh, it was such fun! I'll show you all the results soon...but I really have to get back to the other project now...

Finally a shabby roof!

I've known for a very long time how I wanted the shabby house roof to look.
And now the kids have finally gone back to school I've had some time to make it.
All it took was a piece of cardboard and some paint!

Gifts from Spain!

I received these beautiful gifts in the mail from Eva. Eva had suggested we do a birthday swap because our birthdays are on the same day.
Eva told me she re-did the chair and mirror because they were shiny gold, now they look perfect! The pram is for me to change and that teddy bear was made from Fimo by Eva.

Look at that tiny package (I love miniature mail!) and that fabulous teeny weeny heart!

But I think this teensy giraffe might just be might favourite thing. Eva has painted it so spectacularly. Look at it's happy little face! It's going in another of my projects which I'll have to show you soon...
Also in the parcel there were some very sweet Spanish treats called 'Polvores' which Liberty devoured before I had a chance to photograph them, that girl truly loves sweet things!
Thank you Eva!

A Parcel for Liberty!

For some reason the mail didn't arrive until very late in the afternoon yesterday (it's usually here in the morning). But when it finally did arrive there was one VERY happy little girl! There was a parcel all the way from England with her name on it.

The parcel was full of goodies from Patricia at Papillon Bleu. Patricia had told us she was going to make a doll for Liberty but she sent some other goodies too! A sweet little French Strawberry Shortcake notepad and some of the most gorgeous stickers!
The fabulous Laduree bag was for me! Liberty thought it was very funny that I was just getting a bag! But oh, what a bag!

Happiness!

Let me introduce you to Ruby. If only you could see her in person. She's simply beautiful, an absolute work of art, all handmade and painted by Patricia. And she's tiny, just 10cm (5 inches) tall! With a 'real' nose and the softest hair.

Liberty was also lucky enough to receive one of Patricia's Petit Theatres. The curtains even open and close!

Liberty asked if she could have some of the little dolls I made so they could perform in the theatre.

Merci Patricia! Liberty feels very special to be part of your wonderful whimsical world!
Make sure you pop over and visit Patricia and tell her how clever she is!
