Here's what I made when I needed some plant pots for the front porch.
And here's what I made them from...mostly lids...nothing around here has a lid on it anymore! Even Liberty's been helping me, she's been smuggling lids home from kindy, lol!
How cute that your daughter is saving lids for you! I love your little pots! Looks easy enough for a beginner to make too?!
I just realized that I have a small box of miniatures that I've collected over the years! I'll have to get them out and see if there is anything I can use for my dollhouse! It's been packed away since I moved!
So pretty- I think I might have to add this to my list of things to try! I think the idea of Liberty smuggling home lids is so cute! Recycling at it's best!!
Mercedes, I love them!!! Besides the caps did you painted them or is it paper?? I would like to try for my house. My congratulations for your extraordinary ideas!!! Warm regards, Meli
I love them. How did you do them? Paint and then glue labels on the front? I have trouble getting the paint to stick to the lids and then getting the labels to stick to the paint. Yours look so real looking and are great!
What a great idea. Lids ... now I need to find some lids. I can read that I am not the only one who would like to know how you decorated them. The best is that some of the lids have their own little Liberty story.
Love love love your blog and your work in miniature so much. Isn't it so wonderful to take the most ordinary thing and see something totally different that it could be? I can see that with you. We would have fun together. Mini hugs!
I am a wife and mother of two.
I am a miniaturist, scrapbooker, an op shopper and pretty much a crafter of anything!
Hope you enjoy your visit here!

Lovely and clever. So funny to think at Liberty smuggling caps from school. I wish Matteo were so cohoperative!
