Just a little more Christmas!

Our computer went out of action a couple of days before Christmas so I never got to show you the country dollhouse decorated for the season. As I had actually made an effort to decorate it this year I thought I'd give you a quick look now.
I bought myself this beautiful new decoration and made a mini version of it for the dollhouse.

I don't have a mini turkey so the kids are having Debbie's burgers and chips for Christmas dinner (I'm sure they'll be happier with that anyway!) and the adults are having Susanna's beautiful meals.

I was lucky enough to receive this wonderful little advent calendar from Maia who I sent my Christmas swap gift to.

My sister made this baby in a manger from fimo over 20 years ago when she was about 12!

Here's the 1:1 tree. I promise to be more organised next year (yeah, right!) and show you more of the decorations, most of them are very special!

And here was one VERY excited Liberty on Christmas Eve hanging her stocking by the chimney with care! As you can see from the clock it was very late. We went to her grandparents house to see their Christmas lights but as it is summer here it doesn't get dark until after 9pm.

  1. You managed to decorate both size houses beautifully! Everything looks pretty and especially the Merry Christmas ornament that you made. Liberty still looks bright-eyed and bushy-tailed despite the late hour... it must have been the excitement of hanging the stockings!

  2. Hi Mercedes, I really liked your living room looks so real with all the preparations for the Christmas decorations, it's beautiful. What I enjoy most these days is seeing the happiness of children, I have two kids and loves to share these magical moments. A warm greeting, Sonia.

The big tree was also amazing, so many nice things to see. Your tree is another sort than we have in sweden. It lookes almost soft...

  7. What fun! Your big tree is very unusual with it's long needles. What type of pine is it? Everything looks beautiful.
